Michigan Institute of Timber Resource and Educational Excellence (MITREE)

The Michigan Institute of Timber Resource and Educational Excellence (MITREE) was created by the Michigan Association of Timbermen in 2012. MITREE is a 501(c)3 with a mission to provide information, training, and education to all those involved with the management/use of Michigan’s forests, the transportation of forest products, and the manufacturing of wood products.  This training and education may include: sustainable forestry practices; safety; business practices; best management practices; and other educational topics.
